It will also be showcasing a scalable machine for web converting, the Optima TDC 125 which can be used both under laboratory conditions as well as for subsequent production.
Complex wound dressings can often be a challenge due to their web tension and cutting behaviour. For these applications, it is especially important to combine experience and new technologies into something completely new.
Optima Life Science carries out tests in its in-house technical centre in a bid to achieve optimal results. Three of the most important criteria in its testing are product protection, output and cutting accuracy.
If high output quantities are required, users can benefit from the MDC300 production and packaging system. In the advanced model, the system can discharge up to 600 products per minute. As a provider of turnkey solutions, Optima Life Science integrates additional process steps, such as packaging in sealed pouches or in cardboard boxes.
Compamed takes place at Messe Dusseldorf from 18-21 November 2019.
