Ulrich Medical has announced that it is continuing its international growth course by establishing a subsidiary in Spain. The company, which already has a market share of 30% in the field of contrast media injectors in the country, says this step is an important milestone. The new subsidiary of the medical technology manufacturer will be responsible for the direct support and sales of this product unit and will further exploit the existing growth potential.
EuroAutomation, Ulrich Medical's trading partner in Spain for many years, was looking for a successor for its injector business according to Ulrich, and is transferring the product division to the newly founded Ulrich Medical España as part of an asset deal.
Klaus Kiesel, Chief Executive Officer of Ulrich Medical said: "Our partner in Spain has installed a considerable number of contrast media injectors over the years and thus contributed significantly to our success in Spain."
Ulrich Medical says the new subsidiary strengthens its international presence and underlines its commitment to further international growth.

The new company, which was officially founded on July 10, 2024, and will begin sales on October 1, 2024, will see Christoph Martinez become its Managing Director. Martinez was previously the Sales Manager of Ulrich Medical France, and has 'extensive' experience in the injector business according to the company.
