Digital health start-ups win competition to join Pfizer scale-up programme

Three digital health start-ups have been chosen to be part of the Pfizer Healthcare Hub: London to help grow their companies and expand their solutions to patients in the UK.

Medopad, Perfect Ward and Inhealthcare were selected by a panel of judges as winners of the competition. The companies will gain access to Pfizer’s network of partners and will share £50,000 to further develop their healthcare solutions.

About the winners:

The start-ups were selected by a panel of Pfizer UK leaders and judges including, vice president of the University of Swansea, professor Marc Clement and chief clinical information officer at Taunton & Somerset NHS Foundation Trust, Dr Luke Gompels.

Dr Hamish Graham, Pfizer Healthcare Hub: London manager said: “The broad array of innovative technology presented to us by the different start-ups at the pitch day was a real privilege to see. The three winners really stood out due to their ability to show the impact of the technology on the healthcare service and the lives of patients. We are looking forward to collaborating on some exciting projects in the next 12 months to help bring the benefits of their technology to more patients in the UK.”
