Connected health player expands offering to support diagnostic services

Connected healthcare specialist Wellbeing Software has expanded its portfolio to include pathology and oncology solutions to support integrated diagnostic services.

Wellbeing now offers hospitals and NHS Trusts additional solutions including their enterprise Laboratory Information System Evolution, and Oncology Information Management Solution Charm.

Wellbeing is already a well-established provider of connected healthcare solutions across the UK, known for their core speciality areas of radiology, maternity, electronic patient health records and data management.

This expansion follows Wellbeing’s acquisition by The Citadel Group, an Australian software and services company that specialises in secure enterprise information management in complex environments, including healthcare. The acquisition has enabled Wellbeing to further invest in the development of its core software products, while also moving forward to offer customers these market leading solutions in pathology and oncology from a single specialist vendor.

Chris Yeowart, director at Wellbeing Software said: “This announcement follows months of hard work from the teams at Citadel and Wellbeing to realise the benefits of bringing together their industry leading and highly complementary solution portfolios. The launch of these additional products in the UK will help in supporting patient care and when deployed together, will promote a more joined-up way of working, especially in diagnostic services.”
