Velentium announces acquisition of Oasis Testing

Velentium, an engineering firm that specialises in the design and manufacturing of therapeutic and diagnostic active medical devices, has acquired Oasis Testing, a Magnolia, Texas-based designer of automated test systems for the energy and manufacturing industries.

Moving forward, the companies will operate under the Velentium name with White assuming the role of senior program manager, responsible for growing the testing business, serving the oil and gas industry’s need for high-pressure high-temperature (HPHT) test, as well as testing in the medical device sector. In the coming months, Velentium plans on increasing its production space and headcount as it continues to place an emphasis on its testing and manufacturing capabilities. The company’s expansion will help support innovation and stateside manufacturing for industries central to the Greater Houston economy, such as energy and healthcare, and minimise transportation and distribution costs for local enterprises impacted by the global health pandemic.
