BIOMEDevice Boston 2020 rescheduled for September

BIOMEDevice Boston 2020 and Design & Manufacturing New England has been rescheduled for September 16 – 17 following the growing uncertainty caused by Coronavirus (COVID-19).

The event, which was originally set to take place May 6-7, will still be held at the same location, the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center in Boston, MA.

The decision follows guidance of the World Health Organization (WHO) as well as consultation with the venue and careful consideration from Informa Markets Managed Postponement Program. As the health and safety of exhibitors, attendees, speakers, staff, and the surrounding community takes utmost priority, we have concluded that moving the events to September is not only a strategic but necessary choice given recent COVID-19 developments in the New England region.

Matt Logan, executive vice president of hosts Informa Markets, said: “We are committed to hosting the same calibre of events our community has grown accustomed to, and we appreciate the unwavering support from the venue and our key partners. As we look forward to returning to Boston this fall, our thoughts are with those that have been directly or indirectly impacted during such an unprecedented global situation.”

Changes to exhibitors, attendees, speakers, and partners will be communicated directly, as well as any future updates.

The show aims to bring together technology and product development best practices for successful innovation.

On the show floor medtech and design engineering products will be on display. There will also be a conference running alongside the show with two main tracks.

Alongside the event attendees will be able to access the Design & Manufacturing New England expo. This show will include the latest in design software, rapid prototyping, 3D printing, sensors, advanced technologies and disruptive design.
