Connected health partnership offers NHS Trusts bone lesion solution

Connected health firm Wellbeing Software has partnered with AZmed to offer hospitals and NHS Trusts a solution that reduces image interpretation time when investigating bone lesions.

Rayvolve from AZmed is a computer-aided diagnosis tool that detects all types of fractures in radiography. The solution, which is available through Wellbeing’s AI Connect marketplace, integrates with radiology software to save time for physicians, using deep learning technologies to deliver a 36% reduction in image interpretation time, which allows radiologists to focus on more complex diagnoses. Rayvolve also reduces the number of diagnostic errors by 20%.

Hospitals and NHS Trusts can integrate Rayvolve into their existing radiology workflows using Wellbeing’s AI Connect gateway, which can be used to embed algorithms into any RIS or PACS, optimising and accelerating the rate of adoption. With radiology departments struggling to meet the fast-growing demand for complex imaging, it is important that they have access to solutions that can help streamline processes.

AZmed has been granted CE-marked medical device certification for deep learning radiology software.
