Equipment manufacturer showcases updated ambulance chair at Medica

A transportation equipment manufacturer showcased an updated version of its ambulance chair at Medica 2018.

Paraid has developed the latest version of its IBEX ambulance chair. It is designed for use in all areas including restricted, spiral and narrow staircases. The product features a plastic seat and backrest with a harness. The design is aimed to allow patients to be easily manoeuvred and minimise the operator’s exposure to the weight capacity of the chair.

The company’s ACR (Ambulance Child Restraint) and Neo-Restraint safety products are also both on show.

Paraid uses 3D CAD software when designing and producing their products while aiming to account for the needs of patients and medical professionals.
