ITL Group invests in manufacturing upgrade

Medical device and design partner, ITL Group, has announced that it will put more investment into its on-site printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing facility.

The company is one of the UK’s only certified companies that can provide high volume PCB manufacturing within the medical sector.

ITL has now invested in its TSMA70 Series, a SMT reflow oven, alongside a five-day training course for four SMT operators. The company has decided on this investment as a way to commit itself to continuous improvement.

Tristan Lambert, production manager, ITL Group said: “This investment is part of our commitment to continuous improvement and enables us to retain our reputation for delivering superior quality manufacturing services to our customers.”

The addition of the TSM A70 Series will be the newest feature to ITL’s electronics department, which is also home to a new machine suitable for high precision stripping and subsequent crimping.
