Medilink Midlands announces line-up for Innovation Day

Medilink Midlands will be celebrating its first ever Innovation Day with a virtual event on Tuesday 29 June from 9am. 

The event, sponsored by We Are Pioneer Group, is expected to hose over 100 delegates drawn from life science companies of all sizes and specialisms. 

Medilink Midlands is a business support organisation which helps companies who are operating in, or looking to move into, the Life Sciences sector in the Midlands. Medilink Midlands also provides membership to eligible companies in its area and several Medilink Midlands members will present as part of Innovation Day this year.

Innovation Day will consist of five different webinars on topics including NHS transformation, the wellbeing of home workers, medical technologies and the future of health and a Government update on life sciences strategy. The event will be opened by Medilink Midlands CEO Darren Clark and closed by Medilink Midlands chairman, Professor Martin Levermore MBE DL.

Accelerate Associates, a marketing and market research consultancy for the companies operating in the healthcare and science sectors.

The University of Leicester, which delivers discovery and translational biomedical research in chronic disease such as diabetes, cardiovascular and respiratory. Local SMEs can now access innovation support from academics and clinicians through the new Leicester Life Sciences Accelerator.
