MicroCare to showcase coating and lubrication solutions at MD&M West
MicroCare Medical will exhibit its range of medical device cleaning, coating and lubrication solutions at MD&M West in in Anaheim, CA from 10–12 August 2021.
The company will focus on the Duraglide Dry Lubricant which has been specifically engineered to improve the performance of medical devices.
The three-day exhibition will bring together medical design and manufacturing innovators from across the globe looking for the latest advancements within the sector.
Used on a variety of applications including catheters, cutting tools, surgical staplers and hypo tubes, Duraglide Dry Lubricant assists in reducing ‘stiction’ (the combination of sticking and friction). Made with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), it lowers surface-to-surface friction resulting in easier and more consistent movement of actuation-based surgical and medical procedural equipment.
Don Phifer, MicroCare sr. technical sales representative said: “We are very much looking forward to attending MD&M West. It is the first live event in the U.S. for the MicroCare Medical team since the pandemic began.

Available as a ready-to-use lubricant in a drum or pail package, or as an aerosol spray, Duraglide Dry Lubricant is a premium low-cost, non-migrating, pyrogenically-inert coating solution.
The MicroCare Medical team will be on-hand during MD & M West to present the company’s line of medical products and how to use them in more detail. This will include its range of carrier fluids and swelling agents like Swellex engineered to address the challenge of joining tight-fitting tubing to rigid moulded parts and barbed fittings.
