Shawmed provides insights into the world of medical packaging

Shawpak hosted its inaugural Shawmed event as visitors were able to meet with its exhibitors and find out more about what the company has to offer. 

Visitors were allowed to explore the shawpak thermoforming machine, medical materials and ancillary applications across three days.

Attendess were also given the opportunity to go behind the scenes at Shawpak and Riverside Medical, and there was representation from France and Austria, visitors from the United States as well as Shawpak customers visiting from across the UK.

Shawpak were joined by exhibitors from printing solutions specialist Amaco, SP Automation & Robotics, and Sterimed – a manufacturer of packaging materials, who all provided insights into medical packaging.

Lucie Markgraf, sales administrator at Shawpak, said: “Over the three days we were visited by approximately 60 people from just over 20 companies, some were existing customers, and some were prospects. The event was a huge success, and we already have three new projects to work on, along with a service package from an existing customer. The opportunity to network with our co-exhibitors itself was important to us to solidify the relationship with our industry partners.”
