Webinar features four Taiwan Excellence Awards winners

On October 14, Taiwan Excellence hosted a webinar on Smart Medical Solutions and Biotesting, welcoming viewers from all over the world. This hour-long webinar featured four medtech brands from Taiwan, all of whom are winners of this year’s Taiwan Excellence Awards. 

Each brand presented their latest medical and health innovations, including TANbead’s automated nucleic acid extractor, Miicraft’s optical 3D printer, Aeon’s Acti PRP and A-BMC treatment, and EZYPRO, an arrhythmia diagnostic solution from Sigknow. These companies demonstrate Taiwan’s strengths in biotesting and customised treatments, as well as highlighting the upcoming trends of diversification and specialization in the healthcare industry. 

Dr. Chii-Wann Lin, vice president and director of biomedical technology and device research laboratories at Taiwan’s Industrial Technology Research Institute, said: “Under the threat of the pandemic, we are seeing the new emerging business model of biomedical industries. Medical services are moving from centralized to personalised to look after the individual needs, and smart medical care is believed to be the next wave that could change the world.” 

Taiwan’s healthcare leaders are now eager to expand Taiwan’s presence in the post-pandemic health industry by combining biotesting solutions, preventive medicine, telemedicine, and customised health equipment. The organisers welcome healthcare professionals from Europe and the U.K. to watch the webinar and see what Taiwan’s medical industry can offer.
