Innovia Medical to showcase single-use instrument line at MEDICA

Innovia Medical is showcasing its single-use instrument product line at MEDICA 2022, which includes the Cervical Rotating Biopsy Punch.

The single-use instrument supports procedures like cancer diagnosis and eliminates cross contamination, inadequate samples and repeat procedures.

Featuring a top jaw stronger than titanium, its device allows a biopsy to be taken from a hardened Cervix and a low-profile jaw to provide better access to the transformation zone when migrating into the Endocervical Canal.

This enables a high-quality sample, resulting in accurate Pathology laboratory results and a quick Cervical Cancer diagnosis. Subsequently, it reduces the likelihood of patients being called back for follow-up appointments.

Innovia Medical has also just acquired Apdyne Medical Company, which allows them to manufacture and distribute the Apdyne Phenol Applicator Kit used to anaesthetise the tympanic membrane during myringotomy procedures.

Each kit features a fresh unit of phenol and an applicator with a unique foam tip, providing immediate anaesthesia for a quick and convenient procedure. The applicator eliminates patient discomfort associated with local infiltration, and the procedure is quick and easy, providing predictable best results.

Marcus Super, vice president of marketing at Innovia Medical said: “We are excited to be showcasing the Cervical Rotating Biopsy Punch and other single-use surgical essential products at MEDICA 2022. Visit us in hall 16 Stand K32.”
