Medilink UK Awards 2021 shortlist revealed

The national Medilink UK Healthcare Business Awards 2021 shortlist has been revealed, with some of the most innovative life sciences organisations in the UK making the final list. 

The awards look back over the last 12 months and provide a platform for life science organisations to showcase their achievements. Over 30 companies from across the life sciences sector will come together on Friday 1^st October and five of them will be crowned national winners.

In normal circumstances the sector has come together at a celebratory dinner which for the last few years has been held in association with Med-Tech Innovation. However, this year the awards will be held as a virtual event.

The Headline Sponsor for the Medilink UK Healthcare Business Awards 2021 is Morningside Pharmaceuticals. Morningside Pharmaceuticals supplies medicines, medical products and equipment at a price that brings international standards of healthcare within reach of the developing nations.

Each year, each of the Medilink organisations across the network hold their own awards that identify regional winners, which are then put forward for the Medilink UK national awards. This regional to national awards approach ensures we can identify the best of the best from across the UK.

The five Medilink UK Awards categories are:

• Export Achievement – Sponsored by Good Travel Management - For maximising opportunities to exploit and develop new markets or outstanding performance in other areas of international trade.
• Collaboration with the NHS – Sponsored by The AHSN Network - For the development of a partnership in collaboration with the NHS that has/will have major impact and benefit.
• Innovation – Sponsored by Mills & Reeve LLP - For the development of innovative technology, design and / or processes that have produced a major improvement in business performance and impacted the market.
• Outstanding Achievement – Sponsored by Morningside Pharmaceuticals - For an outstanding achievement that has had a significant or vital impact on the company and market showing potential for continued growth.
