Yashiv joins Thermology Health having co-founded IRISS Medical Technologies, an ophthalmic medical device company where he held the position of both co-founder and CEO.

Prior to co-founding IRISS, Yashiv served as CEO of 3i-backed software company Pixology, and as a venture capitalist at Eurovestech.

Yashiv is currently a senior advisor to DAI Magister, an investment bank which advises international technology and climate companies. He is also an entrepreneur mentor in residence at the Institute of Entrepreneurship & Private Capital of London Business School.

Previously known as Celsius Health, Thermology Health is focused developing thermal imaging measurement in healthcare applications and has devised an innovative device for the early detection of diabetic foot ulcers. Yuval brings extensive knowledge and experience to Thermology Health and will support the team in advancing its pioneering technology.

Commenting on his appointment, Yashiv said: “I am delighted to join Thermology Health to support its pioneering work. Our focus continues to be on utilising our technology to empower clinicians and transform the health of their diabetic patients. I look forward to working closely with colleagues at NPL to utilise their expertise in metrology to deliver real-life benefits.”

NPL CEO Dr Peter Thompson FREng added: “Yuval brings a wealth of experience to Thermology Health, which will unlock new opportunities for the technology and enable us to improve patient quality of life while reducing healthcare costs. I look forward to working closely together to aid Thermology Health in its mission to revolutionise the use of thermal imaging in healthcare.”
