Atos Medical announces acquisition of TRACOE medical

Atos Medical, a specialist in laryngectomy care, has announced the acquisition of German tracheostomy company TRACOE medical GmbH, including MC Europe B.V., and of Kapitex Healthcare LTD.

TRACOE medical is a family-owned German-based tracheostomy business originally founded in 1958 and today includes MC Europe. Kapitex Healthcare was founded in 1991 and is a UK based company. All companies have a longstanding and excellent expertise in developing and delivering high quality products for tracheostomy patients and have a global reach with customers in 90 countries.

The transaction is expected to close in the coming weeks.
