4D Biomaterials launch new class of resins for implantable devices

4D Biomaterials is launching 4Degra, its new class of 3D printing resins for making implantable medical devices at Med-Tech Innovation Expo.

The company says that 4Degra offers medical device innovators unique advantages over existing degradable polymers, including improved biocompatibility, problem-free degradation and promising tissue regeneration properties.

The materials can be formulated and tuned to deliver a range of properties, from soft and flexible grades for soft tissue indications, to strong and stiff grades for orthopaedic and sports medicine applications.

At stand C59, 4D Biomaterials will be exhibiting anatomical models of:

The company is currently at the concept development stage, and is collaborating with medical device companies to develop novel product concepts.

Med-Tech Innovation Expo takes place on 28-29th September at NEC, Birmingham. Register at med-techexpo.com.
