Freudenberg increases sensor integration capabilities for catheters

Freudenberg Medical, a CDMO for medical components and extrusions, finished catheters, and medical devices for minimally invasive applications, has increased capabilities for sensor integration into catheter platform solutions.

New therapies in electrophysiology, neurovascular, imaging, and renal denervation markets require the industry to integrate more functionality into less space. Miniaturisation and the integration of intricate sensors is a key challenge. As a manufacturing and development partner, we offer our customers new technologies for this quickly changing landscape.

Freudenberg’s expanded capabilities position it to work with sensors such as temperature and pressure sensors, entire sensor arrays, and fibre optic sensors.
