SCHURTER highlights efficiency with latest smart connector

SCHURTER has highlighted the SCHURTER Smart Connector DT31 with cloud connectivity, saying it offers an efficient solution for inventory management and monitoring of various electrical devices in a healthcare environment.

The standalone "plug and play" Smart Connector is inserted between any device with a standard IEC power inlet (IEC 60320 C14) and its power source. In addition to the basic functions like switching onand off and power consumption monitoring, the Smart Connector and the SCHURTER Smart App allow functions that can be programmed according to the customer's needs for resource management. 

By capturing and analysing the utilisation and usage behaviour of medical devices, bottlenecks can be identified, operating costs can be reduced, maintenance intervals can be optimised, and resource utilisation improved.
