SMEs invited to Wessex medtech event

An event in May is inviting medtech SMEs that are looking for funding, support, guidance and collaborators.

The National Institute for Health Research Clinical Research Network (NIHR CRN) Wessex and the Wessex Academic Health Science Network (AHSN), are co-hosting the NIHR Roadshow for Medtech SMEs- Support Innovation in Medical Technology Enterprises.

Held on 9 May, at the Dunwood Oaks Centre, attendees can find out about the support offered by the NIHR and AHSNs for research and innovation.

The event will look into a range of topics relevant to medtech SMEs, including available funding programmes, clinical and health economic evidence for NHS use and available guidance across the innovation pathway.

Delegates will have the opportunity to network with key NHS stakeholders, consult specialists and engage in a variety of workshops covering funding, navigating the NHS, initiating clinical trials and building collaborations.  

The event will include a range of speakers from NHS England, Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group, the Wessex AHSN & NIHR CRN Wessex and more.

The NIHR Roadshow for Medtech SMEs is a series of events taking place across the country, showcasing the mission, strategic priorities and activities of the NIHR.
