Medical Moulded Products (MMP) has recently been chosen to produce 15,000 cleanroom manufactured slides for clinical trials which will be used for the detection of cancer cells via blood serum droplets. The company is showcasing its product at Med-Tech Innovation Expo.

The medical-grade plastic slides will play an instrumental part, allowing doctors to diagnose cancer more quickly. MMP specifically appealed to the company because of its ability to work with partners from concept to end design.
Peter Lucas, co-director of Medical Moulded Products said: “Our unique offering is in the ability to create products that meet all technical and regulatory requirements and to be able to adapt designs that enable our clients to find the perfect solution.
“Initially we worked on a low volume of slides for Dxcover which, after a couple of modifications, following discussions with Dxcover, were introduced to help revolutionise the fight against brain cancer.”
