Benvic highlighting tubing and components offerings at Compamed

Benvic, a specialist in PVC, technical, bio based compounds and medical fluid systems solutions, is exhibiting at Compamed 2021 - represented by its medical plastics processing players, Modenplast and Luc & Bel.

This is the first Compamed configuration for these two Italian companies together and under the Benvic umbrella. The synergies of injection moulding, extrusion and Benvic’s polymer compounding excellence is available for all visitors to the company booth in Hall 13, Booth A60.

Now integrated inside the Benvic Group, Modenplast is developing and manufacturing specific medical tubing solutions - one of the key value propositions that is now emphasised within Benvic Medical. Modenplast is also providing ranges of medical polymer compounds, making the company a real solution provider for medical tubing throughout the world.

Also forward-integrated within the Benvic group is the Luc & Bel company, experts in fluid components and innovators in medical technology. Luc & Bel makes a range of components including connectors, filters, spikes and other essential products for drug delivery and healthcare.

Luc & Bel’s range of medical products is based upon its creative expertise with simultaneous engineering; industrial know-how that creates the product and the process engineering at the same time.

In addition, Chemres, a US-based producer of medical and industrial compounds was acquired and integrated inside Benvic Medical earlier this year.

Benvic invites all medical manufacturers to pay the company a visit at Compamed 2021 -  Booth A60, Hall 13 - to see how they might profit from the combined polymer know-how.

Historically, Benvic’s core business is PVC compounding. The company was created in 1963 by its parent, Belgian PVC giant, Solvay. Benvic was then acquired in 2017 by Investindustrial, triggering a wave of company growth and acquisition which is to continue through 2021/22.

Benvic’s acquisition of Italian medical plastics processors, Modenplast (2019) Luc & Bell (2020) and Chemres (2021) has made the company into a forward integrated polymer company.
