A dedicated programme of support for digital health innovators and companies, to help them with the spread and adoption of their technologies within the NHS, is now open for applications for its 2022 cohort.
The East Midlands Digital Health Accelerator provided by the East Midlands Academic Health Science Network (EMAHSN) is designed to help companies further the spread of their digital health technologies and innovations within the NHS, with a tailored package of expert support available to successful applicants.
Support is tailored to the need of the business and has included one-to-one support and coaching, value proposition development and opportunities to showcase products to NHS decision-makers and influencers.
Applications to the scheme are invited from all digital health innovators, ranging from established businesses to innovators wishing to test the value of their innovation in the health and care sector.
Applications are now open and close at midday on Monday 15th November. You can find out more about the application process and apply by visiting EMAHSN’s website.
Matthew Beatty from Sapien Health, a member of the most recent cohort, said: “Overall, an incredibly worthwhile experience and one that I would recommend to any health start-up wanting to scale in the UK. The team at EMAHSN are always available to speak with and their expertise has helped Sapien grow as a business.”
East Midlands AHSN commercial director, Tim Robinson, added: “Our role is to support the spread of health innovations at pace and scale. We are uniquely placed between the NHS and industry, and this Digital Health Accelerator programme will make the most of that relationship to help companies navigate the healthcare system and maximise on their innovations. We look forward to welcoming the successful companies to the scheme later this year.”
