The scheme is designed to work with digital companies across the NHS and social care sector with the aim of refining, developing and scaling their innovation across the service, with the scheme being launched outside the UK capital for the first time.
Signum is one of 34 companies to be recognised with a place on the digital accelerator scheme and one of five from the South West Accelerator.
Central to the work is their i-navigator, a social prescribing tool to support people in need of non-clinical care such as anxiety and depression, loneliness and isolation and weight loss. It enables individuals and professionals across all care sectors to identify and refer to a range of accredited and user rated services, whilst providing 360-degree feedback direct into the patient’s medical record.
Signum Health’s CEO Victoria Norman said: “To have been accepted on such a prestigious accelerator programme directly linked to the NHS in England is amazing for us. Through the South West Academic Health Science Network (SWAHSN) Digital Accelerator programme, Signum Health will be supported by the Network to bring i-navigator and its diagnostic tool into the NHS.
