TRB Lightweight Structures is delighted to announce it has been selected by radiation treatment specialist Elekta as one of its top twenty suppliers.
TRB will manufacture a lightweight flooring solution which will be used in the rooms, or bunkers, that accommodate Elekta’s Unity MR-linac. The specialty flooring can withstand excessive weight distribution and is hinged to allow access to different parts of the machine.
Elekta, who specialise in precision radiation medicine, aims to ensure everyone in the world with cancer has access to – and benefits from – more precise, personalised radiotherapy treatments.
