Medical device company CardiacSense has announced its cardiac monitoring Medical Watch is available to partners, associated hospitals and medical facilities. The watch has real-time continuous detection and monitoring of vital signs and heart arrhythmias.
With non-invasive sensors and algorithms, CardiacSense’s watch enables real time, continuous, long term medical grade monitoring of vital signs and arrhythmias including heart rate, heart rate variability, SpO2 (peripheral capillary oxygen saturation), absolute blood pressure, respiratory rate and Atrial-Fibrillation (AF), cardiac arrest, Tachycardia, Bradycardia, Bigeminy and Trigeminy detection. The Medical Watch comes in a sleek modern design created by leading healthcare industrial design specialists.
Clinical trials are ongoing and results to date have shown medical grade sensitivity and specificity. Submission to regulatory authorities for medical grade diagnosis and monitoring of all these vital signs and arrhythmias is scheduled in the coming months.
CardiacSense CEO Mr. Eldad Shemesh said: “The CardiacSense watch has the potential to change the way patients are monitored in hospitals and change the way they are diagnosed and monitored in ambulatory and home settings. We are looking forward to working with physician and industry partners to improve patient outcomes and reduce healthcare costs.”
