TE Connectivity (TE) showcased its portfolio of medical device solutions for visualisation, sensing, access and delivery at Compamed 2019.
Visitors met TE’s technical experts to discuss its capabilities and its full spectrum of services to design, develop and deliver next-generation medical devices. Visitors also participated in two educational and interactive demonstrations:
- FX29 Compact Load Cell Demo: This showcased TE’s new FX29, this demo allowed visitors to use a mallet to hit a force sensor. Upon impact, an electronic peak detector connected to a sample and hold circuit will capture peak impact and display it digitally.
- Air Bubble Detection Demo: Bubble detection is critical in applications such as infusion pumps, haemodialysis and blood flow monitoring. At its booth, TE held live demonstrations of its Air Bubble Detector, which detects air bubbles by luminating red when air is present in the tube.
Ahead of the show, Laurent Martel, key account sales manager for medical solutions at TE Connectivity, said: “TE Connectivity continues to be at the forefront of medical device solutions helping customers deliver technology that is innovative, reliable and forward-thinking.
