The East Midlands Digital Health Accelerator is open to applications for its 2019 cohort. The scheme will support companies to spread their digital health technologies and innovations, with a tailored package of support available to the successful applicants.

Applications to the scheme are invited from all East Midlands digital health innovators, ranging from fully-fledged businesses to those with ideas and concepts for digital health innovations that they would like a platform to develop. Applications are now open and close Thursday 6 June 2019.
Successful candidates can benefit from specialist training, one-to-one support and opportunities to showcase their products with NHS decision-makers and influencers.
The Digital Health Accelerator is run by the East Midlands Academic Health Science Network (EMAHSN), the innovation arm of the NHS in the East Midlands. One of a network of 15 AHSNs around the country, the EMAHSN helps to develop collaboration across all sectors involved in healthcare - the NHS, social care and public health, universities, third sector and industry - to identify, test and spread ways to drive NHS transformation.
East Midlands AHSN commercial director Tim Robinson, said: “Our key purpose as an organisation is to support the spread of health innovations at pace and scale. We are uniquely placed between the NHS and industry, and this Digital Health Accelerator will make the most of that relationship to help companies navigate the healthcare system and maximise on their innovations. We look forward to welcoming the successful companies to the scheme later this year.”
