Injection moulder and medtech supplier, Boddingtons, has returned to Med-Tech Innovation Expo with expanded resources and increased capacity.
Boddingtons CEO Andy Tibbs said: “I am very pleased to say that Boddingtons has come through COVID with flying colours and is now enjoying getting out and about in industry, boosting sales and putting new projects into our extended Class 7 cleanrooms.
“Once again, we are really looking forward to the Med-Tech Innovation NEC exhibition – and we intend to exceed visitor expectations for medical manufacturing services – helping them produce product excellence in Class 1 and 2 Medical Devices.”
Boddingtons’ investments in MDSAP quality systems and in Class 7 cleanroom technology have exceeded £6 million over the past five years. And now that the ravages of COVID-19 have coursed through the industrial landscape, Boddingtons is hiring manufacturing talent to join the company in its next phase of growth.
Tibbs added: “We have steadily increased medical manufacturing sales over the past 18 months, and we can assure manufacturing practitioners that Boddingtons continues to advance to the top of injection moulding suppliers in the UK. If your ambitions are in medical manufacturing – please drop by our stand at Med-Tech Innovation Expo.”
In addition to medical manufacturing work, Boddingtons is also very busy with tool transfer work for medical clients – improving injection moulding techniques, general productivity, and volume output.
The company’s new cleanroom extension build is now nearly full of machinery and projects and a new slate of investments in Marden, Kent is being considered.
