A new company specialising in delivering bespoke human factors services to improve safety and performance has been formally launched. Enhancing Excellence has been set up to support clients in safety-critical industries including healthcare, and other public sector organisations.

Enhancing Excellence builds on the success of sister company, Salos Sunesis, a leading global oil and gas performance training provider since 1996. This new consultancy business aims to transfer learnings from the aviation and oil and gas sectors to help other high-risk industries address key challenges.
Enhancing Excellence is focused on helping clients develop a safe and effective culture to ensure they can proactively manage and mitigate human errors, which are the primary root cause of workplace incidents. The company’s specialist team implements proven methodologies and human performance tools to enhance a client’s operational environment by building their effectiveness in threat and error management.
Prior to today’s official company launch, Enhancing Excellence recently delivered a bespoke programme to the Scottish Prison Service. This focused on the key elements of human factors, engaging with a wide spectrum of staff, including senior leaders and operational managers.
