Pure Drug Safety has been recognised for the contribution it makes to life sciences, by becoming the newest Patron of Medilink East Midlands (EM).
Medilink EM works with life science businesses, academic institutions and the NHS across the East Midlands, to help new and existing life science companies to develop and grow.
Carol Kingstone, managing director of Pure Drug Safety, said: “Having worked closely with Medilink East Midlands for a number of years, we’re committed to growth and we understand the value of having a well-placed, well-informed and effective network. Becoming a Patron with Medilink East Midlands and working so closely together enhances our core values. We are committed to knowledge transfer and highly value working as a team with our clients, suppliers and partners.”
Knowing of and championing the work of Medilink EM as a key driver of life sciences within the East Midlands, Pure Drug Safety wanted to build on the growing relationship between itself and Medilink EM. Both organisations have worked together for a number of years and this led to an ongoing discussion between the two companies, which resulted in Pure Drug Safety becoming a Medilink EM Patron.
Medilink EM Patronage is offered to organisations because of their prominence within the East Midlands and their recognition of the importance of life sciences in the region.
Darren Clark, chief executive of Medilink East Midlands, said: “Medilink East Midlands is, first and foremost, a membership organisation. We exist to help life science companies across our area to set up and grow and we believe that collaboration is key to helping companies achieve their full potential. The East Midlands is at the forefront of the Life Science industry and our region is a powerhouse for life science businesses.
“I look forward to working with Pure Drug Safety as one of our Patrons. I know that they share our passion for driving life sciences in the region and I believe that they will add a lot of value to Medilink East Midlands’ mission going forward.”
