Medovate, the medical device development company, will be showcasing its latest regional anaesthesia and critical care products at Medica, and the World Airway Management Meeting (WAMM), this month.
Medovate will be providing demonstrations of Safira, a technology designed to help prevent nerve damage during regional anaesthesia, and Humidicare, a Heat and Moisture Exchanger (HME) to help prevent critical airway obstruction.

Safira will launch in the US early in 2020, followed by the launch of Humidicare shortly afterwards. By running demonstrations of both products at WAMM and Medica, professionals will gain first-hand appreciation of their potential and will be in a position to explore commercial collaborations prior to the formal market launches.
Medovate will be hosting a dedicated workshop session on Humidicare at WAMM on 14th November, run by two of the clinicians involved in developing the device: Dr Peter Young, consultant in anaesthesia and critical care, and Dr Jonathan Dean, an ICU registrar researching patient safety. Medovate will also be exhibiting on Stand 1 throughout WAMM, which takes place in Amsterdam from 13th-16th November.
WAMM takes place in Amsterdam from 13-16 November and Medica takes place from 18-21 November in Düsseldorf.
