A webinar hosted by Medilink East Midlands will explain how manufacturers can get their equipment to the frontline during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The webinar; ‘A personal account of CE marking during the COVID-19 pandemic,’ will tell the story of how PPE regulation was relaxed to fight the COVID-19 pandemic and the practical and personal experiences of becoming a manufacturer of protective face shields for local NHS Trusts and nursing homes.
Alongside speakers from The University of Nottingham, Centre for Healthcare Technologies the webinar will cover:
- Relaxation of PPE standards, particularly EN 166
- How this was implemented in the UK
- Getting a COVID-19 CE mark
- Local production for local NHS Trusts
- What makes it personal
This webinar will be held as part of the INSTILS programme – a project part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund.
