Motors manufacturer maxon will host a webinar focussed on motorised implants in the human body.

The webinar will cover the history of implantable motors and what the future might hold. It will also offer an engineering viewpoint focussed on what’s involved in making a motor that’s going to spend its life within the body.
It will be presented by maxon’s UK & Ireland medical sales engineer Matthew Dean on 25th August at 11am. Dean has been involved in selecting DC motors including surgical robots, heart pumps, and drug delivery systems among others.
