Dr Neil Polwart, BBI head of mobile, has over a decade of experience in the development and delivery of diagnostic technologies within mobile health (mHealth). Having studied chemistry with polymers and advanced materials, he began a career with the Ministry of Defence research arm DERA working on biosensor technology before undertaking a PhD modifying diamond surfaces for sensing applications. Following this, Polwart founded a business detecting Legionella bacteria in water, which went on to become one of BBI's customers.
Since the acquisition of Novarum by BBI in 2016, Polwart has had overarching responsibility for all things mobile at BBI Group.
