West-Tech Materials and Diablo Sales & Marketing have entered into a definitive agreement to join forces, to provide extensive product and technology resources to the medical device engineer.
Rick Campo who started West-Tech Materials 28 years ago, and Ari Kettunen who started Diablo Sales & Marketing 34 years ago, are taking the best of their companies to form a synergy of complimentary manufacturers that will expand on each company’s current geographical coverage and provide medical device design engineers with an array of tools and services. With the merger, the West-Tech Materials territory is expanded into the Northwest, Rocky Mountain states, Texas and Gulf coast.
The sales engineers that make up the new and expanded company are a valuable engineering resource. The consultative, technical, and synergistic sales approach develops a partnering relationship with customers that lasts for years beyond current projects.
West-Tech president and founder Rick Campo said: “We strive to be creative problem solvers. Our multifaceted approach delivers efficient material and component solutions, ranging from design and product development to manufacturing. We welcome the opportunity to work with design professionals to provide solutions for their engineering and technology needs.
“We are stronger and better positioned to respond to the current economic crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Many of the manufacturers we represent have maintained very strong sales and have continued to grow. Our sales team and inside sales staff are positioned to maintain communication and continue a very high level of service to both our customers and manufacturers. We have effectively integrated virtual sales tools using Zoom and Microsoft Teams to communicate and provide service.”
